Al Ittihad National Private School-Shakhbout follows the CCCS in English and Math, NGSS in Science, and the MOE standards in Arabic Language, Arabic Social Studies, Moral Education, and Islamic Studies.

Primary and Kindergarten education at INPS-Shakhbout aims at providing the learner with opportunities to:

Go Math! is a comprehensive Grade K-6 mathematics program developed to support the Common Core State Standards for Mathematics. The program emphasizes Essential Questions and Big Ideas with depth of understanding as the goal.  Interactive lessons utilize research based instructional approaches and differentiated instructional resources to ensure success for all students


Information Technology

Techno-Kids & Robotics

TechnoKids Computer Curriculum is a collection of technology projects. Projects include engaging computer activities for children of all ages.

Robotics provide students with all that they need to create a successful Maker-space and STEAM projects.



التربية الإسلامية


يقوم الكتاب على وفق منهجية  تطويرية لبناء شخصية مسلمة متفاعلة ذات تفكير منهجي، ووعي حسي بمقومات الهوية الإسلامية، ويسعى المنهج  إلى إتاحة الفرص الكافية للمتعلم في بناء المعرفة من خلال ما يتوفر في الكتاب من أنشطة تفاعلية فردية وجماعية ترمي في محصلتها إلى جعل المتعلم محورعملية التعلم .


Physical Education

Physical education significantly contributes to students’ well-being; therefore, it is an instructional priority for AL ITTIHAD schools and an integral part of our students’ educational experience. High-quality physical education instruction contributes to good health, develops fundamental and advanced motor skills, improves students’ self-confidence, and provides opportunities for increased levels of physical fitness that are associated with high academic achievement.



English- Journeys


Journeys is a comprehensive K-6 English language arts program. It provides an instructional system for reading both literature and informational texts, for acquiring foundation skills, and for developing mastery of speaking, listening and writing.


Science- Dimensions

Designed for an inspiring, high-impact K–12 learning experience, HMH Science Dimensions creates a supportive instructional path for teachers and a dynamic learning environment for students. Teachers guide students to learn through exploration, analysis, application, and explanation—in short, to think like scientists.


اللغة العربية

         الّغة العربيّة  دورمهم في تشكيل الشّخصية وتنمية القدرات على الّتفكير والفهم والتّعبير فهي وعاء للعلم وللفكر وللمشاعر لذلك اقتضت الحاجة إلى تعلّم مفاهيم اللّغة وتطبيقها وتعلّم  فنونها  وعلومها (القصة، والنص المعلوماتي،  والشعر والأناشيد  وعلم النحو)  واكتساب مهاراتها

(القراءة والاستماع والتحدث والكتابة)



االتربية الوطنية والدراسات الاجتماعية

تعد مادة الدراسات الاجتماعية و التربية الوطنية أحد فروع المواد المهمة التي تضمنها الإطارالوطني الموحد لمعاييرالمنهاج والتقويم، تساعد هذه المادة الطلبة على التمسك بتراثهم وهويتهم  الوطنية ومبادئ التنمية المستدامة،  بما يتناسب مع قدراتهم العقلية واللغوية، واكتساب المعارف والمهارات المختلفة








Art education enables students to examine themselves and the world through creative and critical lenses. By exploring all areas of the visual art including art making, art history, aesthetics, and critique, students develop a comprehensive view of art. Students will build not only creative thinking skills but also problem solving and analysis skills. 


Students Support Services

Kindergarten Curriculum 

In kindergarten, students learn the foundational reading and English language foundational reading arts skills that set them on the path to become lifelong readers, writers, and English language effective communicators. Reading is the most important skill that students develop arts skills that set them during their early academic years, and kindergarten through grade three is the on the path to become optimal period of time for such learning



The CCSS introduce kindergarten students to opinion pieces and informative/explanatory pieces and texts, in addition to narratives. Students use a combination of drawing, dictation, and informative/ writing in their writing activities.




In the CCSS, standards for vocabulary acquisition and use are found in the reading and being Language strand. The CCSS emphasize multiple-meaning words, word relationships, read to, and by and nuances in word meanings. With guidance and support from adults, students respond to text,  acquire new words and phrases through conversations about grade-level topics, by reading and being read to, and by responding to text. Students learn strategies to determine the meaning of unknown words.



Science -HMH Science Dimensions 

HMH Science Dimensions™ puts students in charge of their learning and enables teachers to seamlessly guide their students on this new instructional path. This unique design means better engagement, deeper understanding, and greater student achievement.



Kindergarten students should participate in simple tasks in word recognition skills, which they recognize and produce rhyming words and blend two to three spelling, and writing


Speaking and Listening

Conversations are centred on kindergarten texts and topics, which provide opportunities for students to practice new vocabulary, especially content-specific vocabulary. Students learn to ask and answer questions to seek help, get information, or clarify something they do not understand. Students also learn to use drawings, or other visual displays, to provide additional detail for their descriptions of people, places, things, and events.


Mathematics- GO Math

GO Math offers an engaging and interactive approach to cover the Common Core State Standards. Our GO Math is write-in with embedded practice pages so students record their strategies, explanations, solutions, practice and test prep right in their books
